You'll need to find out what sort of topic appeals to your major topic areas so that you can plan your essay correctly. If you haven't done this before, it's recommended that you read this article for tips on how to choose your narrative topic, so that you can succeed when it comes to essay writing.
The first type of essay topics is a discussion or argument. This is a sort of introduction to a certain topic. It can also be a critique of an entire area, particularly if there is some controversy surrounding the topic. It is usually easier to do a discussion essay than an argument essay because you don't have to convince people of anything; it's enough to make them curious about what you're trying to say and see if they can't think of anything else to add to your arguments. Part of the reason that discussion essays are easier to write is that they only require a single argument to support. You can provide proof from either personal experience or through some written sources. Since these types of essays tend to be very short, you'll need to keep it brief and to the point, but there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to deliver a good argument that's based on solid information. The second type of narrative essay topics is a review or evaluation. These types of essays do not focus on a particular theme. Instead, they examine something or someone in relation to other things. Sometimes, this is not always easy to do since you might end up using one theme to deal with another theme, but sometimes you can use the framework of one theme to help you present another. For example, suppose you're writing an essay about the role of education in society, and you decide to tackle the subject of business. You may then start by talking about education as a vital element in business success and then move on to consider education as the cause of social problems in society. After you've addressed these issues, you could take the discussion to look at another source of social problems and why they exist, and so on. Finally, one of the types of narrative essay topics is the 'call to action' essay. In this type of essay, you simply tell readers how they can use the information you present in their own lives. You don't necessarily have to ask them to act, though. You could take a neutral perspective and present your own personal opinion about the topic, so that you don't come across as a 'call to action.' Now that you know which of the three types of essay topics you're likely to encounter, you can determine how to proceed. Either choose a topic based on your main area of interest, or choose a topic based on a related topic. Your third option is to come up with a different type of essay topic altogether. You don't want to feel overwhelmed by all the different areas of your subject that you have to choose from, so take some time to get yourself organized and learn about each of the topics mentioned above. Then, choose a topic from one of the types that you feel comfortable with. Using a logical approach is very important when it comes to essay writing, so practice your skills and improve your critical thinking skills.
